The Easy Way to Achieve Top Search Engine Rankings

By Larry Libassi

Veteran website owners have learned that writing and distributing articles is among the fastest and most effective means of promoting their sites. In fact, some very successful webmasters do nothing more to promote their sites than write 1-3 articles a week and submit them to article submission sites. In some instances, hundreds of webmasters seeking content will then add the articles to their sites.

By writing articles other webmasters can use on their sites, you can help yourself in three ways. First of all, as more webmasters use your articles and your name is seen more often, people will begin to regard you as an expert on the subject of your articles.

The second benefit that will accrue to you is that some people reading the articles you have written will click on the link to your website in the author's article box and your site will receive additional visits.

Even more important is benefit number three, the fact that each time an article is added to another webmaster's site, the author's site gains a link which helps its ranking in all major search engines. Remember, articles on any subject will help you, but most helpful for improving your search engine rankings are those on subjects closely related to the subject of your sit.

Be sure to compose the author's box as carefully as your article. It should include your name, a sentence about you, and a text link, with appropriate anchor text, to your website. Note that the text links in the author's box below use the terms most likely to be used by people searching for websites like mine.

To write successful articles...articles other webmasters will want to add to their sites, here are a few hints.

1. Write "how to" articles; articles with practical information.

2. Be certain your title creates interest.

3. Proofread. Spelling, grammatical, and punctuation errors are the kiss of death. Webmasters do not wish to add articles filled with errors to their sites.

4. Be concise. Don't ramble on.

5. Be aware of the audience you are trying to reach and give them what they want (or need).

Understand that even experienced article writers are not always successful. But, ultimately, almost all article writers become successful if they persist. In fact, many very successful website owners will tell you that nothing else they do has as great an impact on their enviable search engine rankings as writing and distributing articles. - 16069
